The CAMP month: May 2024
May is finally here, and CAMP’s season is PACKED with events, with monthly meetings, bookclubs, and THREE motocamping events. Below is a list of what’s going on, in chronological order. (Don’t see events in your area? Let me know if you would like to organize one!)
Social Events:
May 8: Chicago monthly meeting. Meet us at Pizza Lobo, in Chicago, on Wednesday, May 8th at 7pm for our monthly meeting. Info and sign up HERE.
Sunday, May 12: CAMP bookclub. Meet us in Chicago to chat about our book of the month. Info and sign up HERE.
Sunday, May 12: MotoGP Viewing Party. Not into books? Join us for lunch to watch a streaming of the French MotoGP race in Wheaton, IL. Info HERE.
Motocamping Events:
May 17-19: Door County S’more, WI (paved event). Our first S’more of the season in the Midwest has over 20 people registered, and promises to be a blast. There are still spots available, and they are only $45! Click HERE for info and sign up.
May 17-19: Smoky S’more, TN (paved event). Our first S’more of the season in the South instead is at risk of cancellation. We only have three people signed up and we need three more to make it happen! Only $45 for a motocamping weekend in one of the most beautiful motorcycling area of the US! Info and sign up HERE.
May 22-27: Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail Ride (dual sport event). There is ONE spot left for our annual Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail ride. Grab it now! Info and sign up HERE.

Other NON-CAMP event:
May 3-5 CRBMW Mini motocamping rally in Houston, MN. Our friends at the Chicago Region BMW Group organize every year a mini motocamping rally in Houston, MN. This is a pay as you go event, and you can find all the info HERE.
May 11: Heavy Enduro Midwest Open Ride Day, IL. Join the Heavy Enduro crew for a fun day on the trail on Saturday, May 11. This is NOT a training day. Registration is free, and the folks at HE will provide refreshments. Info and sign up HERE.
