WHAT’S THE PLAN?
The plan, in a nutshell, is the following:
We will arrive on Wednesday afternoon at our campground inside the Rocky Mountains National Park, in Estes Park, CO. After setting up camp, there will be a camping welcome dinner for CAMP members (and s’mores of course…). If you can’t arrive on Wednesday, no stress - we will have a welcome dinner for the latecomers arriving on Thursday.
On Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday you will be able to choose among several activities: you can join daily group rides lead by one of our members along routes we have prepared for you; you can ride solo following one of the itineraries we will share with you in advance; or you can do whatever other activity you want - hiking in the park, white water rafting, swinging in a hammock under a ponderosa tree, visit town.
On Monday morning we will go back home, or you can join our Colorado BDR ride (spots are limited).
Possibility for Chicagoland CAMPers to have their bike transported there and back for a fee - see below.
The event is capped at 24 participants.
